As part of efforts to curb COVID-19 transmissions in the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs through the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department has conducted an Antigen Rapid Test, ART Programme for all vendors under the department.

The programme began at the Tamu Kianggeh Complex. The ART test is mandatory and must be conducted by all vendors at their respective houses. It aimed to detect SARS-Co-V-2 virus quickly and as a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19 among vendors. Permission to conduct business is also subject to the results of ART test, which will be implemented once a week.
