In conjunction with the 52nd Anniversary of the name change for Brunei Darussalam’s capital from Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan, a Reading of Surah Yaasin, Ratib Al- Attas, Selawat Tafrijah and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held yesterday afternoon.
The ceremony was held to commemorate the deeds of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien in developing and modernizing Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
