The Semi-Finals of the National Level Al- Quran Reading Musabaqah for Adults is held for four consecutive days starting, 21st of November 2022. The Musabaqah which is an annual activity of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

On the first day, 17 participants comprised 13 qaris and four qariahs will presented their respective readings. Present was Awang Haji Md Shamsul Riza bin Haji Sulaiman, Acting Director of Administration at the Administration Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The musabaqah is organised as a platform to further develop and uphold Al- Quran as well as to encourage the community to become an Al-Quran literate.
