Since 14th of August 2021, the Royal Brunei Police Force has conducted patrol operations and roadblocks throughout the country which to date, 39 individuals with BruHealth red codes have violated their quarantine orders and went out of their homes.

The Ministry of Health takes this matter seriously and will take action by bringing them to court for violating regulations under the Infectious Diseases Act, Chapter 204. The Minister of Health urges the public to be responsible and play their part in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, and pray to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that Brunei Darussalam is always protected and blessed, that its people and residents are always given health and well-being, safeguarded from all diseases and infections, especially the COVID-19 infection, and that all COVID-19 patients are given immediate recovery.
