Achieves 4 APICTA Awards

Brunei Darussalam’s representatives to the 21st Asia Pacific ICT Alliance, APICTA Awards 2022 have done the country proud by achieving two winning awards and two merit awards in four categories. The competition was held in Islamabad, Republic of Pakistan. The Ministry of Health BruHealth App won the Inclusions and Community Services for Health and Wellbeing category. The Ministry also won Merit in the Public Sector – Government and Citizen Services. Rumine Corporation Techsim Inclusions and Community won the Sustainability and Environment and Education. Meanwhile, Sekolah Ugama Arab Menengah Perempuan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha’s Sign Speak Student app won Merit in Student: Senior Systems category. The delegation arrived in the country yesterday afternoon.

 

Present at the Brunei International Airport were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health and Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office as Chairman of the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI).
