A Nationwide approach, consultations, solidarity and cooperation aside from high patriotism and nationhood, the National Day Anniversary celebration will be able to run smoothly and in an organised manner in a joy-filled atmosphere. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said a flexible approach and rapid action will be utilised in arranging and planning this year's National Day celebration programme by following the set guidelines and SOPs. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad stated this while chairing the Second Meeting of the 39th National Day Celebration Executive Committee, yesterday morning.

Yang Berhormat said the theme 'Menjayakan Wawasan Negara' will be maintained by taking into account that the theme is still relevant and inline with the efforts continuously carried out in enhancing the progress of national development towards upholding Wawasan Negara 2035.

Yang Berhormat added that the committee also notes that the concept for the celebration's Grand Assembly is 'Warisan Budaya Jati Diri Bangsa' or Cultural Heritage, Nation's Identity by emphasising the perpetuity of the nation's culture, empowering youths with an identity based on the Malay, Islamic, Monarchy, patriotism, as well as joy and happiness.

The meeting was a continuation of the earlier meeting to share about the preparations for the celebration including the rehearsals to be held, the Kesyukuran Ceremony, Mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isyak prayers, Reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran; Grand Assembly Ceremony and 'Semangat Kebangsaan' Cycling Recreation as well as side events.
