The 31st Pantai Mentiri Amateur Open Golf Tournament open its curtain yesterday morning. 106 amateur golfers join the 3-day tournament organised by the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club.

The tournament competed two categories namely the Men and Women categories comprised of 94 male golfers and 10 female golfers. The tournament format is three-round 'stroke play' where 24 men and 6 women who recorded the best strokes after the second day of the tournament will advance to the final round which will be held this Sunday. Meanwhile, the organizer also provides some attractive prizes to the players who managed to make the 'Hole In One' stroke on the 7th, 16th, 13th and 9th holes including cash and a car.
