The Minister of Health in the media conference also shared that on the 10th of October 2021, a total of 2,208 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection.

Yang Berhormat said that this means, under the National Vaccination Programme, 330,410 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 72.8 percent of the total population. Meanwhile, 211,609 individuals have completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 46.7 percent of the total population. Furthermore, to provide a clearer picture of the location of the positive cases detected in the county, the Ministry of Health shared some of the results of the research that has been conducted. Between the 3rd until 9th of October 2021, there are six mukims that have more than 80 positive cases. These mukims are Mukim Berakas 'A' with 112 cases, Mukim Sengkurong, 109 cases, Mukim Gadong 'B', 91 cases, Mukim Mentiri, 83 cases, Mukim Pekan Tutong, 102 cases and Mukim Kuala Belait with 128 cases.
