Ramadhan Charity Travel Programme, Afternoon

The Ramadhan Charity Travel Programme continued in the afternoon with the handing over of donations in the four districts in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan after holding the Tadarus Ceremony.

In Brunei Muara District, the first delegation of the Ramadhan Charity Travel Programme was led by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth And Sports. The visit began at the house of a special need child, Awang Nawfal Jafran bin Mohammed Noorjafree Sophian @Jafrine in Kampung Bolkiah B. The visit continued to Kampung Lambak Kanan with the handing over of a house that has been repaired by the Community Development Department with an allocation of $17,765.00 and a visit to the houses of 3 senior citizens in Kampung Lambak.

Meanwhile, the second delegation was led by Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary for Community and Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The delegation visited the house of Dayang Hajah Murah binti Baha, recipient of Old Age Pension (PUT) in Kampung Lumapas 'A' and the house of Dayang Meyam binti Awang Manan, recipient of Monthly Welfare Assistance (BKB) in Kampung Putat.

Meanwhile, the third delegation was led by Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports who handed over donations to 2 recipients, namely Dayang Sara binti Haji Dunglah, recipient of Monthly Welfare Assistance (BKB) and Dayang Noraini binti Murah, recipients of Persons with Different Abilities (OKU) in Kampung Kulapis.

In Belait District, the presentation of Ramadhan Charity Travel donations was led by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Strategy and Policy Management at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 6 houses were visited starting from Kampung Sungai Liang Mosque to Kampung Singap Bukit Sawat; Kampung Merangking Hilir; Kampung Sungai Bakong, Lumut; Kampung Mumong Selatan and Kampung Mumong Indigenous People's Grant Land Scheme.

For Temburong District, the presentation of Ramadhan Charity Travel donations was led by Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Administration, Finance and Estate at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. A total of 6 houses were visited starting from Kampung Temada; Kampung Semabat; Kampung Sibulu; Jalan Kastam Lama Kampung Menengah; Kampung Parit Belayang, Jalan Kampung Menengah and Kampung Selapon.

For Tutong District, the presentation of Ramadhan Charity Travel donations was led by Retired Colonel Pengiran Haji Maiddin bin Pengiran Haji Said, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports. 6 houses were visited starting from Kampung Benutan; Kampung Kuala Ungar; Kampung Long Mayan, Jalan Merangking; Kampung Penapar; Kampung Bukit Udal and Kampung Keriam.
