The National Road Safety Council, MKKJR continues to call on all road users to always start a journey with supplications aside from heightening awareness. Drivers are also urged to always prioritise safety by ensuring the vehicle is in good condition as well as make a practise of using seatbelts, not using the mobile phone while driving, always drive within the speed limits and adhering to road traffic signs displayed. Yesterday afternoon, the MKKJR held a mass Fardhu Zohor prayer, Sunat Hajat prayer and reading of Ratib Al-Attas.
Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali Bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism as the Acting Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The function was held to make supplications to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala so that Brunei Darussalam is always protected from all disasters and all diseases in particular the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as specific supplications for the safety of all road users from any accidents.
