At the media conference, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Awang Mohd Isham reminded the public to practise their respective social responsibilities during the pandemic. The public must also use the BruHealth application and scan the QR Code every time they enter or exit premises especially in public places. Meanwhile, the Minister of Health also informed that no new COVID-19 case was reported in the country today.
Yang Berhormat said that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country is 221 while the total number of those recovered is 210. Meanwhile, 8 cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre and are stable condition. Aside from that, 573 people are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres provided by the government, namely those who just arrived to the country after being abroad. To date, 16 thousand 892 people have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the facilities. In the past 24 hours, 132 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which brings the total number of lab tests conducted since January 2020 to 1 hundred 18 thousand 240 tests.
