Tadarus Ceremony Held By Women Officers and Staff of the Ministry Of Religious Affairs

Tadarus ceremonies are held to further glorify the holy month of Ramadhan with the intention on seeking blessings and forgiveness as well as multiple rewards. To gain such rewards and blessings, women officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs held a tadarus ceremony at Kampung Salambigar Mosque.

The reading of Al-Fatihah was led by Datin Hajah Jamaiah binti Haji Abdul Manaf, wife of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. This was followed by the tadarus led by Dayangku Zainab binti Pengiran Haji Tuah, Deputy Director of Core Knowledge Centre, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College. The Ministry of Religious Affairs' annual religious activity is one of the pillars to glorify the mosque and bring oneself closer to al-Quran as well as enhance religious practises in Ramadhan.

Also holding a tadarus ceremony was the Brunei Darussalam Women's Council. The mass reading of surah Al-Fatihah was led by Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali, Second Deputy president of the Brunei Darussalam Women's Council. Tadarus Al-Quran is an annual activity of the Brunei Darussalam Women;s Council in seeking blessings in Ramadhan aside from strengthening relations among its members. The function took place at the residence of the council's Second Deputy President in Kampung Jerudong.
