Brunei Darussalam has taken various initiatives to make the country a low carbon nation. Among them is through the Tree Planting Project at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreation Park, this morning. The project was organised by the Brunei Institute of Technical Education, IBTE Business campus; and supported by the Forestry Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
The tree-planting project was participated by Awang Haji Md Sofian bin Haji Lamit, Operations Manager of IBTE Business Campus. The project supports climate change policies apart from preserving the welfare of the people and ensuring a green, clean and healthy environment. Apart from making the earth greener, the project also beautifies the area.
