The Fathul Barakah 2.0 Project, jointly conducted by the Islamic Da'wah Centre and the New Converts Association nationwide, provides an opportunity for the public to give infaq or charity in the form of basic food necessity for the new converts in need. Through the project, a total of 410 infaq was successfully collected nationwide.
30 new convert families from the Brunei Muara District received donations from the project, yesterday morning. It was presented by Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar, Acting Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre.
According to Awang Haji Zul-Hilmin bin Haji Lakat, Assistant Religious Development of the Islamic Da'wah Centre, the project received a good response from the public and the donations received were more than what was expected.
