$600 Million was provided from the total allocation for the Financial Year 2021/2022. The Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister of Finance and Economy shared the breakdown of the allocation according to sectors.
According to Yang Berhormat, the transport and communications sector was allocated $76 million while the social service sector was allocated $168 million. The public utilities sector was allocated $166 million and the human capital development sector was allocated $58 million. Miscellaneous Sector that includes funding for completed projects which still have liabilities was allocated $11 million. The Industry and Trade Sector was given an allocation of $53 million. The technology and Infocommunications Sector was provided an allocation of $30 million dollars while the Public Building Sector was allocated $17 million. The Science and Technology, Research and Development Sector was provided an allocation of $12 million and the Security Sector was allocated $9 million.
