Throughout last year, the Ministry of Health has given more focus on the workforce in tackling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Minister of Health underlined that the frontliners have worked hard and were united in saving lives despite having to sacrifice family time, face the risk of infection and fatigue. The Minister of Health expressed his appreciation to the staff involved and generous contributions made by individuals in together tackling the pandemic.
The past and ongoing contributions in the form of energy, time, cash and skills while the country is tackling with COVID-19 are highly appreciated. Yang Berhormat also expressed his full gratitude to all frontliners from the Ministry of Health; Ministry of Home Affairs especially the Fire and Rescue Department; National Disaster Management Centre; Immigration and National Registration Department; Royal Brunei Police Force; Royal Brunei Armed Forces; the Royal Customs and Excise Department; Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports particularly the Youth and Sports Department, Department of Community Development; Red Crescent Association and volunteers especially from the National Service Programme and Royal Brunei Airlines.
