The Ministry of Home Affairs will implement the Second One Village One Product, 1K1P transformation programme in the near future after implementing the first 1K1P transformation programme last year. According to the Minister of Home Affairs, the programme aims to increase the number of more competent entrepreneurs and make quality 1K1P products.
Yang Berhormat said that aside from providing courses and training, the Minister of Home Affairs through district offices will continue to provide capital assistance to the 1K1P entrepreneurs whether in the form of in kind or grants. The Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced entrepreneurship grants known as developing youth in encouraging the involvement of youth the in the field of entrepreneurship and economics as well as to enhance the participation of entrepreneurs registered under the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils.
