Brunei Darussalam will soon launch the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. To disseminate and share the programme to the residents, the Ministry of Health held a Vaccination Programme Dialogue Session specifically for Penghulus, Head of Villages and Senior Citizens Activity Centre, PKWE from Temburong District yesterday morning.
The briefing was delivered by Doktor Hajah Martina Melati binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Kifrawi, Health Medical officer at the Temburong Health Office. 200 participants attended the session. The session aimed to share the importance of obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine and information on the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, especially the senior citizens in Temburong District.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme will be implemented in phases, where is in Phase One, the senior citizen aged 60 years and above are among those who will receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Ministry of Health will hold the next dialogue session for Brunei Muara Districts on Monday, 22nd of March and Tuesday, 23rd of March at the Dewan Muhibbah for the Penghulus and Heads of Village in Brunei Muara Districts. Meanwhile, a dialogue session specifically for the Senior Citizens Activity Center and the Brunei Wargamans Association will be held on Tuesday, 23rd of March at the Senior Citizens Activity Centre in Kampung Lambak Kanan.
