Prime Minister’s Office Planning and Action Plan

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in the statement on the budget provision and direction of the Prime Minister's Office shared that the Prime Minister's Office budget also upholds the Financial Year 2021/2022 budget theme which prioritises three foci. Yang Berhormat then shared on the Prime Minister's Office's Planning and Action Plan.

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti said the first foci is Increasing National Productivity. In upholding efforts towards increasing national productivity in particular, the Public Service, a number of programmes and initiatives have and will be carried out, including Human Resource Auditing Plan in the Public Service, with the theme Empowering Public Service Workforce, aimed at reviewing workforce needs in instilling leadership development and ensuring optimal workforce integration for the organisation's excellence.

The second foci which is Provision of Sustainable as well as Resilient Facilities and Infrastructure, for the public's well-being and economic development, the Prime Minister's Office will continue to play a major role in maintaining public well-being. Efforts which will be carried out include implementation of effective social policies which can fulfil the citizens' basic needs and provide access as well as equal opportunities for every citizen towards a high quality of life.

Third, Generating Competent and Employable Human Resource. To uphold this, efforts carried out include strengthening leadership quality in public service through the introduction of new programmes under Civil Service Leadership Pipeline - CSLP which is an Advance Executive Development Programme - AEDP with the cooperation of the country's higher education institutions.
