The Teachers Induction Programme is an opportunity for new officers and teachers to enhance their knowledge particularly in administration and management process as well as policies and regulations at the Islamic Studies Department and Ministry of Religious Affairs. Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Acting Director of Islamic Studies was speaking during the launching of Teachers Induction Programme for newly employed Level two and three officers at the Islamic Studies Department.
The programme took place at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School in Kampung Katok. The three day programme was attended by 2 hundred and 24 level two teachers and level 3 trained religious teachers. The program aims towards equipping them with knowledge pertaining to matters relating to general regulations and public service, benefits in service and so on. In addition, participants were also guided in understanding the mission, vision, functions and role of the Department of Islamic Studies, besides providing exposure and understanding of the professionalism of a teacher in supporting the National Education Vision 2035.
