The Tutong District Religious Affairs Office and the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Division in collaboration with the Kampung Keriam Mosque Takmir Committee, yesterday morning, organised a Funeral Management Course. The course was held at the Kampung Keriam Mosque in Tutong District.
Some 120 participants representing the Tutong District Mosques male and female youth group, students from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute and members of the Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah of the Tutong District Mosques. The course was conducted by mosque officers and penggapai from the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Division. During the course, participants were briefed on the theory and practical of funeral management guidelines. Several participants shared their experiences and benefits of participating in the course.
The course continued with the certificates presentation to the participants by Awang Haji Azman bin Haji Musa, Chief Religious Officer of Tutong District. The course is intended to cultivate a sense of responsibility among the youth generation in learning funeral management as a kifayah obligation that every Muslim needs to know.
