His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that the understanding of the country's Muslims of the concept of loyalty or faith in life has shown results such as peace, prosperity and security. His Majesty adds this includes the extraordinary situation where the country seems to be free from the Coronavirus Pandemic when others continue to struggle to curb it.
His Majesty outlines this in a titah in conjunction with the National Level Isra' Mi'raj Celebration 1442 Hijrah/2021 that was broadcast to the whole nation. In the titah, His Majesty calls on the people to remember that Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala does not separate the two Pillars of Islam which are the Daily Prayers and Zakat or Tithe. His Majesty says this is because prayers are evidence of the link between people and Allah, The Creator. Zakat is the symbol of responsibility among people.
