Volunteers and youths who are active and adapting them into a collaborative club named Youth Community Club, will become an icon or example for other youths. The Youth Centre has become the destination of choice to improve on any weaknesses or share their skills with their peers who have various fields of interest among them entrepreneurship, religious, recreation and education. The Acting Director of Youth and Sports shared the hope during the Youth Transformation Community Club, KKBT Exco 2017-2020 Appreciation Ceremony, last night.
Dayang Mariam binti Ulat in her speech said that through the unification of youths in a group will be able to combine all age levels of different education backgrounds. The positive result is an interaction towards enhancement of minds. The KKBT members were also reminded to continue to be active, contributing and enhancing youth development in the country inline with the contents of the National Youth Policy and Strategy 2035.
Fifty KKBT members received their certificates of appreciation while another 26 received certificates of participation for the KKBT management workshop. The Bandar Seri Begawan Youth Centre, KKBT was formed on the 27th of August 2017, in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the Bandar Seri Begawan Youth Centre foundation laying ceremony.
