Latest COVID-19 Situation in Brunei Darussalam

1 imported case was reported, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 190. In its press release, the Ministry of Health informed that case 190 is a 42-year-old man who arrived in the country from Indonesia via Singapore on the 22nd of February on board Royal Brunei BI 004.

The contact tracing for this case is still being conducted. This brings the number of active cases still being treated at the National Isolation Centre to FIVE.

The last local COVID-19 case was reported on the 6th of May 2020. Meanwhile, the total number of imported cases since the last one is 49.

664 people are currently undergoing mandatory self-isolation, while 14,321 others have completed their mandatory self-isolation since March 2020.

In the meantime, 539 samples have been tested for the SARS Co-V Two Virus, bringing the total number of lab tests since January 2020 to 106,972.
