Kesyukuran Ceremony in Conjunction with National Day Celebration

The Kesyukuran Mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isya' Prayers, Reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the 37th National Day of Brunei Darussalam, 2021 will be held on Monday, the 11th Rejab 1442 Hijrah corresponding to the 22nd of February 2021.

The focal point of the ceremony will the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan.

In Brunei Muara, the ceremony will be held at Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong; Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Mentiri; Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Kampung Jerudong; Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Serusop; Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque, Mukim Sengkurong; Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque, Mukim Sungai Kebun; Setia Ali Mosque, Muara Town and Perpindahan Negara Lambak Kanan Mosque.

In Belait District, the ceremony will take place at Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque; Perpindahan Kampung Pandan Mosque, Kuala Belait and Pekan Seria Mosque.

In Tutong and Temburong Districts, similar ceremonies will be held at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town and Utama Mohd Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town.

The Kesyukuran ceremony for the 37th National Day will begin at 5.45 in the evening. Government officers and staff are welcome to all mosques, suraus and religious halls in the country, especially Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan to enliven and glorify the country's National Day and supplicate together to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for Brunei Darussalam's lasting peace, prosperity and well-being and may Allah always protect the country from all disasters and dangers. The event includes mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer, sunat ba'diah and sunat hajat prayers, reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran as well as mass Fardhu Isya' prayer. The ceremony will adhere to the current Standard Operating Procedures, SOP for attending Mass Fardhu Prayers at mosques, suraus and religious halls in the country.
