National Flag Hoisting and Distribution Ceremony in the Four Districts

The Brunei Darussalam flag hoisting and distribution ceremony was held yesterday morning in the four districts.

In the Brunei Muara district, the ceremony was held at the District Office. The National Flag was handed over by Awang Misle Bin Haji Abd Karim, Brunei Muara District Officer, to the personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force to be raised. The ceremony was followed by the distribution of flags and presentation of certificates to Penghulus, associations, private parties and non-government organisations, NGOs. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.

In Belait District, the ceremony was held at Menara Cendera Kenangan Park, Jalan Sungai Kuala Belait. Awang Ramlee Bin Haji Jamudin, Belait District Officer handed over the flag to personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force to be hoisted. The national flags were then handed over to the mukim penghulu in the district. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile in Tutong District, a similar ceremony took place at the Tutong District Civic Centre Complex area. The national flag was handed over by Awang Ajmin Bin Haji Meludin, Acting Tutong District Officer, to personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force to be raised. The ceremony then continued with the handing over of flags to mukim penghulus and acting mukim penghulus in the district. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.

In Temburong District, the ceremony was held at the Celebration Stage Open area in Bangar Town. At the ceremony, Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak Bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Temburong District Officer handed over the national flag to the Royal Brunei Police Force personnel to be raised. The event also continued with the handing over of national flags to the district's mukim penghulus. Also present was a member of the Legislative Council.
