His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning made an unscheduled visit to Politeknik Brunei, PB and two campuses under Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE namely IBTE Business Campus and IBTE School of Aviation. During the visit, His Majesty in his titah touches on a number of matters related to unorganised and incomplete policy which can weaken the administration of Politeknik Brunei and the concept of building up and improving quality must be made with caution and not in a rush.

Among the two matters that the monarch reminded on, are the aspects of construction to accommodate the four schools under Politeknik Brunei which is important to be considered and not to neglect the challenges in facing current changes such as the challenge of the continuously-changing development of information technology. His Majesty in his titah says that Politeknik Brunei has the vision to produce marketable, innovative graduates while its mission is to equip students with skills through holistic education. His Majesty adds that looking at the vision and mission as well as programmes offered, it cannot be denied that Politeknik Brunei is great and prideworthy.
