The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism yesterday continued the fourth visit programme series for the members of the Legislative Council to several agricultural sites in the Brunei Muara District. The visit organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism ended with a feedback session between the Ministry and the legislative council members.
Present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary resources and Tourism, Permanent Secretaries, and deputy Permanent Secretaries from the Ministry and departments under it. The feedback session aimed to obtain summaries, views as well as suggestions for improvement from the members of the Legislative Council on the development of agriculture, fisheries, forestry and tourism industries in the country. These summaries, views and suggestions from the feedback session will act as measurement and useful proposals for the ministry to improve its strategy as well as enhance efforts towards ensuring industry productivity and yield to contribute in diversifying economic resources and increase Gross Domestic Product, GDP growth.
