Launching Ceremony of Strategic Plan 2021-2025 of Public Service Department

The production of Public Service Department's strategic plan for the departments under the Prime Minister's Office is to jointly support the aspirations of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in creating a Public Service of high quality, great knowledge and integrity. The Strategic Plan will be a flashlight that heads and realises necessary changes to further enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of the Public Service machinery, especially in terms of management, planning and development of human resources, specifically for the Prime Minister's Office and the public service in general.

Speaking at the Launching Ceremony of Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025 of Public Service Department, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, shared that it is in line with the department's new vision, 'Transformasi Perkhidmatan Awam Ke Arah Brunei Darussalam Yang Maju' or Public Service Transformation Towards a Progressive Brunei Darussalam'. The vision reflects that the Public Service is always rising to meet the current distribution challenges which include the 4th Industrial Revolution and address it with progressive and dynamic initiatives.

The production of the Strategic Plan will allow initiatives improvement to Human Resources which is considered to be the nerve centre of an excellent Public Service.

During the event, Directors of Administration at the Ministries in the country received copies of The Public Service Department Strategic Plan 2021-2025 book.

A Mini Exhibition covering the main functions and projects prepared by different sections under the Public Service Department was also held. At the Exhibition, Yang Berhormat Dato officiated the Assets Management System project. Also present were Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Permanent Secretary of Public Service, Welfare, International and Media at the Prime Minister's Office, and Awang Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Public Service, Welfare, International and Media at the Prime Minister's Office.
