The Command and Staff Course will equip participants with a better understanding in the operation main concepts as well as defence and safety strategy including the capability in basic order, analytics and communication. Speaking at the Opening Ceremony for 11th Command and Staff Course, CSC 2021, Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Force, RBAF said that the course also provide interactive platform for participants to share, explore and discuss on the concepts and related issues with the current security. The ceremony took place yesterday morning at the Defence Academy of RBAF.
33 officers including 18 RBAF officers, an officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force, an officer from the Internal Security Department and 13 international officers from 10 countries.
The 40-week course was conducted in partnership with Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD for the third year as its primary academic provider. By the end of the course, successful course participants will be awarded the UBD Graduate Diploma in Defence and Security Studies with an opportunity to pursue their Master's degree in Defence and Security Studies.
