During the media conference, the Minister of Health reminded the public to practice their respective social responsibility during the pandemic. The public are also advised to be equally responsible in maintaining the safety of the citizens of Brunei Darussalam by not violating the directives issued during the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes not crossing the borders to neighbouring countries through mouse trails or smuggling routes.
The Minister added that the public with information on travels or border activities through the routes mentioned should informed the relevant agencies immediately. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health will conduct a national survey on public acceptance of the use of the COVID-19 vaccine from the 15th to 28th of January 2021. The survey will be open to the public aged 18 and above through the BruHealth app. The survey results will be able to assist the Ministry of Health in planning the best method to implement the COVID-19 vaccination program in Brunei Darussalam. It will also help in ensuring that the vaccination program will run smoothly once it commenced. The public are welcomed to participate in the survey. All answers or responses provided will be confidential and will not affect the colour code of the BruHealth survey participants.
