The Multaqa Da'ie with Mufti programme focuses on empowering the da'ie with effective da'wah approaches in dealing with various communities. The programme was held this morning at the conference hall of the Islamic Da'wah Centre in Kampong Pulaie. The programme is among those arranged by the Da'wah Dissemination Section, Islamic Da'wah Centre towards strengthening the delivery of da'wah in the country.
The Special Speaker was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti. The programme among others aimed to inspire the Islamic Da'wah Centre officers in facing current da'wah challenges as well as strengthening the credibility of these officers and da'ie involved in da'wah.
Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; and Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti. The programme participants comprising of the prayer leaders or iman; lecturers of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic Universiti and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College; officers from Ministry of Religious Affairs; the State Mufti; religious teachers; certified da'ies, youth da'ie, youth syahadah, Al-Minhaaj Centre Group as well as government retirees who are still active in da'wah. The programme is hoped to beneficial in further improving the quality of da'wah delivery in the country in line with the current needs.
