More Than 480 Business Premises Participate In Brunei Salebration 2020

Businesses selling home furniture, electrical and electronic goods, clothes, shoes and other items and appliances as well as supermarkets make up the highest number of participants in Brunei Salebration 2020. The 90-days event that began on the 15th of November has received encouraging support with 481 premises from various business sectors taking part.

Brunei Salebration 2020 is on until the 12th of February 2021 and participants are offering attractive prices in support of the Government's efforts to spur domestic economic activities towards greater economic growth.

During Brunei Salebration, business premises should follow the latest guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, especially by taking precautionary measures to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. These include taking body temperature checks, ensuring customers scan the BruHealth QR Code, obeying guidelines on mass gatherings by limiting the number of customers to 350 in the premise at any given time, putting up social distancing signs and ensuring the cleanliness of trolleys and baskets. Online businesses are also urged to take precautionary measures in providing delivery services such as implementing the 'no-contact' deliveries.
