The country's domestic tourism sector is gaining more positive impact. According to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, apart from government efforts to promote local tourism products, the development is also the result of initiatives by local tourism industry players who offer attractive and affordable packages as well as the active involvement of local tourists.
