With the skills acquired during the course at the Youth Development Centre, graduates are advised to challenge themselves and move on to a new direction immediately. Apart from gaining the training skills, graduates are hoped to believe in themselves and increase their patience, especially in moving into the future world of employment. The matter was touched by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports at the Convocation Ceremony of the Youth Development Centre, yesterday morning. Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin added that the support of each party through the Whole of Nation approach is also important to ensure that graduates are given the opportunity and able to achieve the best.
A total of 285 graduates comprised of trainees who ended their studies in the July 2018, January 2019 and July 2019 sessions received their certificates. At the function, 3 graduates were selected to receive the Outstanding Trainee Award for the July 2018, January 2019 and July 2019 sessions.
Meanwhile in the afternoon, 134 graduates from various youth development programmes from the July 2018, January 2019 and July 2019 Sessions received their certificates respectively. The certificates were presented by Pengiran Mohammed Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Administration, Finance and Estate at The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
