Armed Robbery Mastermind Apprehended

The masterminds of an armed robbery at a goldsmith in Kampung Tanjung Bunut were finally apprehended.

According to Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Haji Mohammad Khairul Amilin bin Haji Idris, Acting Head of the Major Crime Section, Criminal Investigation Department, the suspects, Muhammad Noh bin Mohd Edham and Mohammad Amirul Alif bin Ali will assist in the investigation and facilitate evidence gathering. The Royal Brunei Police Force stressed that under Section 412 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22, any person who dishonestly receives or retains any stolen property shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 15 years, and will also be liable to fine.
