Instilling a culture of entrepreneurship among youths is one of the national agendas that requires the attention of all parties. This is because it is now time for all parties to realise that entrepreneurship can act as a catalyst for national economic change and development. The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs said that it has become a life norm that every success gained must include various challenges, and at the same time also requires numerous sacrifices.
Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar said that the course participants who will become future successful entrepreneurs must be strong and patient as well as not lose hope when faced with problems. The success of prominent entrepreneurs recorded in history have gained success without going through various challenges, however with patience and diligence, they continue to move forwards, with success as their end game. Tenacity in facing all challenges should go hand in hand with a love of knowledge. Always increase knowledge as it will protect us and help manage the business set-up.
Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom, as Honourary member of the International Rabithah Brunei Darussalam Al-Azhar Alumni, spoke at the Official Opening of the Mua'malat and Entrepreneurship 2020 Basic Course for the Alumni of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB and Brunei Darussalam's Al-Azhar University Alumni. The six day Mua'malat and Entrepreneurship 2020 Basic Course is participated by 34 members of the three alumni. Also present were Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Ra'es of International Rabithah Brunei Darussalam Al-Azhar Alumni, Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA and Doctor Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha, Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB.
