Civil servants must ensure that every duty and responsibility entrusted is carried out meticulously without delay, which includes considering any 'Legal Implication' of the decisions made while carrying out their duties. In the special address during the Opening of the Law Seminar 1442 hijrah/ 2020 yesterday morning, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office stressed, that in drafting and implementing strategic plans, it is natural for all Ministries and government agencies to always be reminded to highlight legal matters such as in ensuring any plans are in accordance to the law from the aspect of principles and also its implementation and to ensure the existing laws can tackle the issues raised. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, added, this can certainly be made a success if every ministry has civil servants with the experience and knowledge in legal matters even though not to the expert level.
