Visit to Mawlid Fest

30 Brunei International Religious School students held a visit yesterday afternoon to Mawlid Festival which is currently being held until this Sunday at the Airport Mall in Berakas.

Among those joining the visit was His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's granddaughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince. During the visit, the students participated in the Story Telling activity on Prophet Rasulullah's personality, life and story of his companions which was delivered by Dayang Nurhuwaina binti Mahmud, Qualified Daie of Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB. The delegation also joined the Rombongan juga mengikuti Calligraphy Writing Workshop.

36 local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from the New Convert Consortium Programme of New Convert Development Section, Islamic Da'wah Centre join the festival. Among the sales products featured are traditional and modern handicraft products. The Festival is open to the public from 10 in the morning to 10 in the evening.
