The Brunei Young Leaders Convention, BYLC 2021, organised by a grouping of three young local entrepreneurs from Perspective Insan Academy, Al-Huffaz Management and Generasi Bekarih will be held for the third time from 23rd to 25th March 2021 at the National Service Programme, PKBN Training Camp in Temburong District. The convention is a platform that helps youths to participate more actively in implementing projects and programmes which can assist efforts towards realising Wawasan Brunei 2035 inline with the convention's motto "BELIA" or Believe, Empower, Lead, Inspire and Act. The BYLC Media Conference was held at the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday afternoon.
During the media conference, Yang Berhormat Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, Member of the Legislative Council who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Perspective Insan Academy in his capacity as the BYLC Chairperson said the BYLC is a platform the unites youths with stakeholder agencies from the government side, the private sector and community in delivering accurate and latest information on Wawasan Brunei 2035. Yang Berhormat said unlike the previous year. the Brunei Young Leaders Convention will include a session with mentors, physical activities and getting to know Temburong District closer through interaction with the district's people or community.
Meanwhile Awang Loqman bin Hamdan, the Chief Executive Officer of Al-Huffaz Management as the BYLC Co-Chairperson said the youth involvement and development after participating in the BYLC are effective and satisfactory either through networking or project management.
