Another 17 business premises were found not adhering to directives issued by the Ministry of Health during the 'Operasi Merati' conducted on 2nd of November to 8th of November.
The operation conducted by the Health Enforcement Unit, Ministry of Health at 130 premises in the four districts issued compound fines totalling $7,800 to 17 premises.
Among the offences were food handlers, hairdressers, as well as health and beauty establishment staff not wearing face mask; no social distancing; not using BruHealth QR code and no body temperature checks. The Ministry of Health reminds the public especially business premise managers and staff to abide by the directives issued by the Ministry of Health and other government agencies.
