The Malay Islamic Monarchy, MIB philosophy and Wawasan Brunei 2035 are the policy and direction that guide the life and national identity of Brunei Darussalam. In a related measure, the Workshop on Empowering the Brunei Mould through the "whole of nation" approach was held with the involvement of strategic partners from government agencies including institutions of higher studies and youth associations. Speaking at the official opening of the Workshop On Empowering the Brunei Mould Through the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) Approach yesterday morning, Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports said the workshop aimed at youths as the succeeding generation who will uphold, preserve and strengthen Brunei Darussalam's cultural heritage.
30 youth are participating in the workshop organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports until today. The programmes include briefings on protocol and ethics in official events, the proper use of Bahasa Dalam and strengthening the aqidah or belief of Ahli Sunnah Wal-jamaah. Other practical activities are 'Menambat dastar and Menapih Sinjang' as well as visits to Brujie History Centre and the Department of Adat Istiadat. Among other things, the workshop aims to internalise and enculture the MIB philosophy in the country's administration and management.
