4th Phase De-Escalation Plan for Food Premises

Owners and operators of food premises are advised to continue to give their cooperation in the implementation of the 4th phase de-escalation plan for dine-in services at food premises which started yesterday. Owners and operators are reminded to continue to comply with the instructions and advice set by the government from time to time.

 

Under the implementation of the 4th phase de-escalation plan, food premises, namely restaurants, cafes and food courts are allowed to operate at full capacity. However, buffets are still not allowed. Guidelines and other conditions for dine-in services at food premises are still maintained. The implementation of this de-escalation plan will be carried out in stages based on the Ministry of Health’s monitoring of the COVID-19 epidemic situation in the country as well as at regional and global levels. The Ministry of Home Affairs reminded that those who are found not complying with the stipulated conditions can be charged under the Infectious Diseases Act 204.
