UNISSA Takes Precautionary Measures

Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA has taken precautionary measures to ensure that the possibility of infection is under control. It is postponing all lectures and studies at the UNISSA campus starting on the 14th until the 28th of this month.

However, the online teaching and learning process using the Learning Management System, LMS, and several other teaching and learning technologies will continue. UNISSA is taking preventive measures by performing Sunat Hajat prayer and reading Doa Tolak Bala or Supplication to Ward Off Mishaps and Disasters to seek Allah's protection for the members of UNISSA and the country's people; temporarily postponing all UNISSA organised activities that involve gatherings and community services, vacating all UNISSA college accommodations for local students, ensuring cleanliness of UNISSA campus area AND carrying out body temperature checks as well as providing hand sanitizers and face masks. The university also reminds its members to take notice and appropriate action according to the Circular of the Prime Minister's Office on Guidelines for Contingency and Preventive Measures Against COVID-19 Infection for the Brunei Darussalam Civil Service and the Ministry of Health's Press Release on the Development of COVID-19 Disease. UNISSA with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the developments of the infection from time to time.
