The Embassy of Japan in the country yesterday morning hosted a certificate presentation ceremony for participants who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, JLPT, which was conducted on the 1st of December last year. The ceremony was held at the Embassy of Japan in Kampung Kiulap.
The certificates were handed over by His Excellency Abe Hiroshi, Deputy Chief of Mission/ Counsellor at the Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam. Their success in JLPT test has encouraged the participants to continue studying the Japanese language. JLPT was launched in the country in 2008, and has been held every December since then. Last year, 52 people took the JLPT, across a range of language levels, from N1 to N5. A similar test will be held on the 6th of December this year. Application will be open from July till September.
