From the Parade Ground of the Police Training Centre in Gadong, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince then witnessed an exhibition in conjunction with the 99th Police Day Celebration at the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters in Jalan Tungku Gadong. Also in attendance was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Commandant of the Women Police.
The exhibition focused on the development achieved by the Royal Brunei Police Force since its establishment on the 1st of January 1921. As the country's oldest enforcement agency, the Royal Brunei Police Force has undergone many changes and developments in guarding national stability such as the change from colonial to contemporary police concept.
Towards enhancing its role and services, the Royal Brunei Police Force has established cooperation with related agencies and members of the pubic, as well as regional and international police forces. Apart from that, the Royal Brunei Police Force is also involved in several peace missions overseas.
Subsequently, His Royal Highness attended a brunch held at the Officers Mess, Royal Brunei Police Headquarters in Gadong.
In conjunction with this year's celebration, various religious, community and sports activities are lined-up to boost the teamwork among the personnel as well as to foster close relations between the police personnel and the public.
