The Brunei Islamic Religious Council through the Secretariat of Tithe Recipient Capacity Building Programme, PROPAZ, will continue to be proactive in diversifying the Capacity Building Programmes towards enhancing the skills of Tithe Recipients in particular the participants of the programme. In this regard, two participants were selected to undergo skills training and further their studies at the Institut Kemahiran Baitulmal, Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan MAIWP in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dayang Sari Wahyuni binti Ahmadhizamshah, aged 18, and Dayang Azibah binti Ajak, aged 19, will undergo the Food Preparation and Service Course. Present to bid farewell at the Brunei International Airport was Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop, Acting Secretary of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council. The skills training is fully funded by the organising country, while other expenses such as airfare and other matters related to the Brunei Darussalam participants' welfare and needs is funded by the Poor and Destitute Asnaf Tithe Money Collection allocation. The opportunity will be able to produce highly trained tithe recipients, confidence and knowledgeable in line with the development of the foreign industry and subsequently will come out of poverty.
