Standard Chartered awarded a total of 15 thousand dollars in grant awards to the top 2 winners of the Youth against Poverty programme in the partnership for Futuremakers, a collaboration with society for community Outreach and Training, SCOT. The awards ceremony was held at Indah Hall, Peak Performance of the Royal Brunei Recreation Club, yesterday afternoon.
The award was presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, The Minister of Youth, culture and Sports. BenchLab received a grant of 5 thousand dollars and the project is a home massage services provided by the underprivileged. Ruma-Ke-Ruma will identify suitable candidates and raise their competency level in massage service. Meanwhile, Kemari Farm Enterprise received a grant of 10 thousand dollars and its farming start-up company operated by youth agri-preneurs. The goal of this project is to raise awareness in the importance of farming and further developing the agricultural industry.
