The dikir Maulidur Rasul continue to resonate at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide to seek blessings in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration. Apart from mosque congregants and the public, various parties in the country including several ministries held the Dikir Maulidur Rasul. Last night, a delegation from the Ministry of Development and its departments held such a ceremony at University Mosque.
The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development. The ceremony is hoped to further strengthen the love towards Rasullullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam by reciting the dikir.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports also organised a similar ceremony at Kampung Perpindahan Serasa Mosque. Leading the delegation was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman, Member of the Legislative Council; Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Administration, Finance and Estate at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; and Retired Colonel Pengiran Haji Maiddin bin Pengiran Haji Said, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
At this function, an endowment was presented to the mosque.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also held the Dikir Maulud at Lorong Tiga Selatan Mosque in Seria. Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs led the ministry's delegation. The Ministry of Home Affairs will resume its dikir maulud ceremony at several selected mosques in all districts to further enliven the mosque. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin, Member of the Legislative Council and Awang Ramlee bin Haji Jamudin, Belait District Officer.
