Yang Berhormat also informed that two new isolation centres located in the Tutong and Belait Districts have started operating.

The Minister said in an ongoing effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health is pleased to inform the public that the Third Phase of the COVID Holding Area Mahad, CHAM Tutong which can accommodate up to 488 patients and another isolation centre located in Belait District which is COVID Holding Area Sixth Form Centre Belait, CHABEL6 which can accommodate 320 patients began operations on Monday, 13th of September 2021. The two new facilities are jointly operated by the Ministry of Health and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
